My name is Vanessa and I was born here in Atlanta GA. I began taking ballet and tap lessons at the age of 2. At the age of 6 I started jazz lessons. By this time I was in school at Pleasantdale Elementary. By the 1st grade my grandmother enrolled me in Evansdale Elementary, where I am in 6th grade now. In second grade, my grandmother moved me to a new dance school called Atlanta Dance Works, where I now take 5 classes a week. I am in a competition group, where we compete against dance teams from all over the state. Hopefully we will be going to National Dance competitions in New York.

Anyway, in my future I plan to go to Henderson Middle School for grades 7 & 8, and then probably to Brookwood High for grades 9-12. I would love to go to Julliard School of Performing Arts for college. I hope to become a Radio City Rockette someday.

Right now I love dancing, sports, music, my boyfriend, and hanging out with my friends: Nino, Katie, Jana, Scottie, Anneika, Amber, and Amal, to name a few. At school, I'm in band (saxophone), dance team, basketball team, Beta Club, Safety Patrols, discovery, and chorus. |
